From the 2 August 2022 Neil Austin and Blair Dyer have sold their shares in Austinsure to Steadfast New Zealand Ltd as part of the Steadfast Group. Austinsure have been a valued member of the Steadfast Network since 2013 and so we believe they are the natural acquirer of the business.
Neil Austin will remain in the business as Managing Director, and Blair Dyer as Professional Liability Manager. For us, it’s business as usual and Austinsure will remain as a standalone business. From our perspective, Steadfast’s investment in Austinsure enables us to continue to provide the same high level of service to clients as before with our existing staff.
Steadfast Group is the largest general insurance broker network with 434 brokerages and 27 underwriting agencies in Australasia, with growing operations in Asia and Europe. While Steadfast NZ Limited has 54 general insurance brokerages nationally.
